International Conflict : Ethno-Religious Conflict in Myanmar

The ethno-religious conflict between Rakhine Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims in the northern part of Myanmar has been one of the most terrible tragedies of this year 2012. Although Myanmar government has been rewarded by lifting sanctions especially by the western countries and organizations like the US and the EU because of the government’s faster transition toward Democracy, this conflict has made human rights activists questioned whether the country’s transition is truly irreversible.

How to travel in Malaysia from/to airport

Hi guys, today I would like to share with you how to travel in Malaysia with the cheapest cost. Now i'm at the LCCT airport waiting for my flight at night around 8.40 pm and I will check in at 5 pm preventing long queue with not 100 % fit, and may God give me strength.

From LCCT/KLIA:
  • when you arrive at the airport, you go outside and find the bus Shuttle counter near the door arrival. The price is around 8 RM from LCCT to Puduraya or you can go to KL Sentral. Because in this point you can go everywhere in Malaysia.
  • Bus driver will say puduraya if the bus reach, and after you go outside is not exactly in front of puduraya but the bus will stop in front of "Mydin" which is supermarket.
  • After you go from the bus, don't say to anyone because it may attract taxi driver to convince you to take taxi and they will lie with the high price. The solution is after you are out from bus and directly turn left from the bus's door and go along the way. Maybe 100 m you will arrive puduraya and you can book the bus according to your destination outside the Kuala Lumpur. But if you just want to go around Kuala Lumpur, you can just take another bus or train (LRT) e.g KLCC, central market, etc. for those who love shopping, you can go to china town near puduraya.
If you wanna come back to airport again, just repeating the same process you go with. God Luck, have save journey

Traditional business to modern firm

Important elements involved in marketing your business has, essentially, unchanged. The goal of every business is still has a higher income, and the reason for the ad is all about getting your target audience to take action. What has changed however, is how your ads are being delivered to the market. People have less time and patience to read, listen and hear your message. You have a little time to get the message across, so you need to use a medium that can provide you with a great announcement, convey your message to your target market and cause people to act in ways that are simple and easy.

How has IT changed the way we live today?

what do you think ?? do you think if IT change your live ?
I will say "YES" because you can see that all the element of life almost all done by IT. IT has change the people who are living in this world. Once upon a time, our grandfather and grandmother didn't feel worried or frightened if they didn't bring gadget but people nowadays will feel upset and worried if they didn't check their email or notification in their social media. It proves that IT has change people mind about live. Another impact of IT is make people a bit "lazy", we know that IT make people connect without meet one another. In this instant, laziness will grow up but it will extract the IT knowledge either bad (HACKING) or good (Improving IT environment).

SEE THIS VIDEO - about IT in daily life !

Are IT workers professionals?

I don't think if all the IT workers are professionals. I had been practice work for 3 months when I was in vocational high school which was at one of the company. One customer asked for the problem about the computer and the IT support said lie which was not professional. He also will provide a virus in the computer so that for three months, the user will come again to service their computer. It shows that not all the IT workers are professionals and it depends on the ethical of individual, how they understand of being professional.

Information on Emerging Technologies

Nanotechnology

What does it mean ? Nano (from Greek) means dwarf or small. Nanotechnology is one of the science's branch which the object has size from 1 – 100 nanometer (nm); 1 nm equals to 0.000000001 m. Quantum mechanics has a big role in this technology. The first time the concept of nanotechnology was introduced by Richard Feynman in a scientific speech held by the American Physical Society at Caltech (California Institute of Technology), December 29, 1959. with the title "There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom". Richard Feynman was a physicist and in 1965 won the Nobel Prize in physics.

Grid Computing

According to Giga Research, grid computing is the computer cluster systems, which are connected to one another, which allows the use of existing resources simultaneously. Meanwhile, according to Sun Microsystems grid computing shortened to 3 C, namely Computing, Collaboration, and Communication. From this understanding, we can assess that grid computing is an amazing thing. for many different applications and hardware that can be easily configured without disturbing a running system. Combining multiple geographically separate computers, but still connected communication system with the Internet.

Quantum Computing

What is a quantum computing ???? Simple understanding of the quantum computer is a new type of processor chips are created based on recent developments of physics (and mathematics) quantum. In short, today's conventional chips need to be replaced with something better.
Further understanding of the quantum computer is a calculating device which uses a quantum mechanical phenomena, such as superposition and linkage, to perform data operations. In classical computing, is calculated by the amount of data bits; in quantum computers, this is done with the qubit. If say, a quantum computer only took 20 minutes to work on a process that takes 1025 years on the computer at this time, we would be amazed. This makes scientists so keen to develop the possibility of formation of a quantum computer. Although until now there has been created a quantum computer as imagined by scientists, progress continues in that direction

Managing Complexity

Situation Given:
For CEOs and their organizations, avoiding complexity is not an option — the choice comes in how they respond to it. Will they allow complexity to become a stifling force that slows responsiveness, overwhelms employees and customers, or threatens profits?
How do you respond to these statements?
As student and I am not the CEO of any organizations or companies yet, I don't know much about how to manage complexity; hopefully, I will be CEO :D. But I will just give my opinion about it, according to the situation given, CEOs and their organizations don't care about complexity in their companies. I think it is not the best choice avoiding complexity because it may harm their companies to bankrupt.
